As a young kid, I had terrible haircuts. As soon as I was old enough to know I had awful hair, I was determined to never suffer through bad hair again. I did anything and everything to my hair such as a self-perm when I was 15, getting a $17 hack job right before beauty school, and bleaching out one crazy head of bright red hair.
After many years of experimenting on my hair and on my trusting friends, I have acquired an arsenal of Do’s and Don’ts. I came to realize that having healthy hair was the key to feeling comfortable and looking good. Spending 5 years in college and a year in Cosmetology school, working multiple jobs, and trying to have a personal life, I know that it’s not easy to make hair a top priority.
My mission is to inform and share all that I have learned through great (and not so great) experiences throughout the years. Hair is just one small part in our overall wellness, but every part counts. I want to share my collection of learning experiences, tricks of the trade, and discoveries with you. Enjoy!
