THE WHY
"20 Years of Pride" explores anxiety and fear spiraling that stem from past experiences that suggest relationships are doomed to fail. It's a reflection on how pride and emotional scars can quietly sabotage love before it has a chance to grow.
CREATIVE EXECUTION
The artwork I created centers on the theme of self-sabotage brought on by overthinking. I wanted the design to feel introspective, dark, and emotionally charged. A glowing neon sign, isolated in the middle of a forest at night, sets the eerie tone and the flickering wolf skull helps conveys inner turmoil and the quiet unraveling that happens beneath the surface. Once design was finished I utilized After Effects for the motion graphic.
