THE WHY
Prison Fellowship created this bible study for those in prison to explore human flourishing in the context of the Great Story of God’s Love. The goal was to make a book for the participant and a book for the facilitator with reference pages to what needed to be taught. There also needed to be solutions for different things: if they have enough time to play a video, how long sections take during class, and correct responses.
CREATIVE EXECUTION
I created a mini brand guide to showcase the look/feel of the design. I wanted to elevate the current branding so I added a serif font for headlines and took some of the secondary colors from the brand to differentiate certain callouts. Once design was approved I worked with the instructional team to finalize design solutions and built out the 200+ page books. Finally, I used the InDesign book feature to build out all ten sections and created an accompanying CD design.
