THE WHY
This client came to me to design a proposal for her opera. The artwork was already created but she wanted me to create a logo and branding for the proposal. The opera is a visually rich, music-driven journey of self-discovery set across surreal dimensions. At its heart is Lesedi, a woman who breaks free from a life of monotony, a prison without walls, to uncover her true identity and inner power.
CREATIVE EXECUTION
I took the art deco inspired artwork and created a color scheme, type treatments, and illustrative elements that elevated it. I wanted to create something ethereal and consistent with the story while keeping things readable and clear for investors.
